These are the special pieces you can pull from chests and place into your game.
J
Jester
Moves like: Knight • or King
Trick (once per game): the first time your Jester moves, if it ends up next to one of your pawns, it may swap places with that pawn.
S
Sentinel
Moves like: Rook (max 3 squares)
Revenge: if the enemy captures your Sentinel, the capturing piece becomes Rooted on that square next turn (it can’t move).
A
Archer
Moves like: Bishop (max 2 squares)
A compact diagonal attacker — great for short, sharp forks and quick defenses.
Aura: enemy pawns can’t move into the 8 squares surrounding your Warden (the “ring” around it).
M
Mimic
Moves like: Knight • or Sliding piece (max 3 squares)
The Mimic can jump like a knight, or slide like a rook/bishop up to 3 squares. Very flexible.
